Cyclamen persicum 'Cyberia White' (Florist's Cyclamen) – White Autumn & Winter Bedding (12 x 9cm Pots)
White cyclamen give clean, long-lasting colour in autumn and winter, when most pots and window boxes have run out of flowers. Cyclamen persicum has pure white blooms held above attractive silver-marbled, heart-shaped leaves.
You receive 12 plants, each in its own 9cm pot, supplied in active growth and in bud or bloom. They suit patio pots, window boxes, baskets and the front of a border, or a sheltered porch or doorstep.
Choose a spot in partial shade, sheltered from cold wind. These are not hardy plants. They will take a light frost in a sheltered container, but a hard or prolonged frost kills them, so treat them as one season of autumn and winter colour. Use a well-draining, peat-free compost and keep it on the dry side. Water at the edge of the pot rather than into the crown, which helps prevent rot, and pull off spent flowers with their stalks to keep new buds coming.
The tubers should not be eaten, by people or pets.
