Chrysanthemum 'Zumba Pink & White' (Garden Mum) – Compact Autumn Flowering Plant (12 x 10.5cm Pots)
Chrysanthemum 'Zumba Pink & White' is a compact garden mum that fills pots and borders with pink and white bi-coloured blooms when most summer plants have finished.
The plant has a bushy, upright, mound-forming habit and deep green, lobed leaves. The flowers open from late summer and carry on into November, and they can also be cut for small arrangements. Exact flower shading may vary slightly with light levels and growing conditions.
You receive 12 plants, each in its own 10.5cm pot, ready to grow on, pot up or plant out. They suit patio containers, borders and beds, and they grow well in pots. Choose a bright, sunny spot sheltered from strong winds, with moist, well-drained, fertile soil.
Water at the base of the plant and keep the compost moist but never waterlogged. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage more flowers, and feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser every 1 to 2 weeks while the plant is growing. Chrysanthemums sold for autumn colour are not reliably hardy outdoors, so treat them as seasonal colour and replace them each year, or lift and overwinter them under cover.
All chrysanthemums are harmful to cats and dogs if eaten.
