col-9pk-vio-sor-yel-jumx1
Viola 'Sorbet Yellow Jump Up' (Horned Pansy) – Hardy Yellow Bedding Plants (18 Plants in 2 x 9-Cell Trays)

Viola 'Sorbet Yellow Jump Up' is a hardy bedding viola that gives masses of bright golden yellow flowers, each with a darker yellow face and that classic pansy look.

It is a compact, mounding, free-flowering plant with mid-green, oval to heart-shaped leaves. Flowers appear from autumn through to late spring, with the strongest flushes in cooler weather, so it keeps colour going when most bedding has finished. It copes well with winter weather and is a good choice for window boxes, hanging baskets, border edges and patio containers.

You receive 18 plants in 2 plastic 9-cell bedding trays, one plant to a cell, ready to plant out into borders, window boxes, baskets and containers. They grow best in full sun or partial shade, in moist, well-drained, fertile soil. Enrich the soil with compost when planting and water regularly in dry spells, without letting the soil become waterlogged.

Deadhead spent flowers regularly to keep the plants blooming, and feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser every two to three weeks while they are growing well.

Cultural Information

Common Name: Viola, Pansy, Jump Up Viola

Botanical Name: Viola x wittrockiana and Viola cornuta

Fully Grown Height and Spread: Approx. 10-20cm tall and 15-25cm wide (variety dependent)

Growth Habit: Compact, mounding, free-branching

Perfect For: Borders, window boxes, hanging baskets, patio containers, edging

Foliage: Mid-green, oval to heart-shaped leaves, evergreen

Flowering Time: Autumn through to late spring

Flower Colour: Bright yellow with a darker yellow face

Planting Position: Full sun to partial shade

Soil Type: Moist, well-drained, fertile soil

Hardiness: Fully hardy, rated H5 to H6, survives British winters outdoors

Maintenance: Deadhead regularly and feed every two to three weeks while growing

Seasonal Interest: Autumn, winter and spring

Type: Hardy bedding plant

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0957/2479/8218/files/5_d97596f3-bce2-4772-99b2-7dddd7eb06b7.png?v=1793895368
